MEC
SEAL - AP |
This
is a phenolic liquid with good wetting properties
so that it will flow readily and permeate the
fine pores in sprayed coatings. It can withstand
a temperature of the order of 70 - 80°C and
is resistant to hot hydrocarbons. This sealer
may be used for sealing coating which are to
be finished by grinding and later to be used
with lubricating oil. This is also suitable
for flame sprayed coating. |

MEC
SEAL - BP |
This
is a phenolic liquid and dries only after baking.
The visosity of this sealer is more than that
of AP. This sealer can withstand a temperature
of the order of 70 - 80°C and is resistant to
hot hydrocarbons. This is also suitable for
flame sprayed coatings. |
|
MEC
SEAL - AV |
This
is a synergetic combination of organic resin
with volatile solvents alongwith the leafing
agent. This sealer is good for resisting salty
environments and especially used for ship hulls,
boats etc. Due to the presence of leafing agent,
it can close coarser porosities also. |
|
MEC
SEAL - CV |
This
is similar to MEC SEAL - AV, however, without
leafing agent, and is good for plasma flame
sprayed coatings. This viscous liquid. However,
when applied on hot as sprayed parts, it gets
thinned and penetrates the porosity. |
|
MEC
SEAL - M |
This
is a black colored tar and pigmented with the
bituminous. This can be used as a general sealer
to resist the attach of moisture and ground
rain water. This can be used for flame sprayed
coatings. |
